That means it's time to prepare your Summer Travel Kit.
If you live in a city with access to Summer activities, you will be ready for a Summer Staycation or a Summer Vacation.
The Top 10 items to start your Summer Travel Kit (#1-5)
1. Sunglasses
Your next pair of perfect sunglasses are just a click away...and they won't break the bank!
SPF 30+
Water resistant
Broad Spectrum - UVA and UVB Protection
Coppertone Glow Shimmering Sunscreen Lotion
Sunscreen is important, no matter your skin tone. And who doesn't like to add a little Glow to their lovely skin. Please note that this is only SPF 15. Be sure to add another SPF 30+ product to your Summer Travel Kit to use with your glow products.
3. Beach Blanket
When you go to the beach it is so hard to stay dry and sand-free when you trot from your resting spot to the ocean and back. Or have you ever spilled your water on your beach towel? I love the color of this beach mat and the size is perfect. Up to 4 people and sit, lay, and relax while enjoying the sounds of the ocean or your favorite tunes.
4. Summer reading list
The best part about a vacation or a staycation is that you are hopefully making time for yourself. For me, this is the time set aside to catch up on my favorite podcast, or browse my favorite magazine. It's also the perfect time to get lost in a great read. Whether you like to physically hold a book, or if you like to load your Kindle up with a handful of books, a summer getaway is great for losing yourself in a great story. Check out this list of new finds for your next summer read: 32 best beach reads for summer.
5. Water bottle
We were all present for the Stanley frenzy. But are they the best? Maybe. Staying hydrated is important year-round, but especially in summer when heat stroke is most definitely a thing. A reuseable bottle is a must! I suggest nothing too large, but big enough to keep you hydrated until you can refill it again. Here is a great brand that offers a lot of cute colors to make staying hydrated look very cool: Hydro Flask Standard Water Bottle.
